Depending on our patients needs, booking and length of procedure, there may be time available quickly. However, we do not like to rush our patients into a procedure (a so-called “cooling-off” period is encouraged), preferring to allow them to book in when they are confident and at the best time for them. It is also recommended to consult with other surgeons to solidify your decision to work with Mr Coombes. We understand our patient have time schedules and we try to fit in as best we can.

Mr Coombes will talk through the implications of the surgery you are interested in, the recovery period, time off from work, and any follow up care you will need. You will also be given an aftercare pamphlet that will reiterate the information given by Mr Coombes. When you have made the decision to go ahead with a surgical or treatment procedure with Mr Coombes and you have received your quote, the next step is to choose a date and lease with Mr Coombes’ PA Justine Plant at 01892 531111 Ext 2275. Full payment for Mr Coombes is required 2 weeks prior to surgery day.

Many procedures can be performed as day cases so there is no need for a hospital stay but larger surgeries like a rhinoplasty typically requires an overnight stay.

If urgent, please contact the hospital where you had your surgery. Our hospitals have clinical teams on duty every day of the week to help you with your needs. For non-urgent requests Mr Coombes’ PA Justine Plant is available for help and advice too. Please note the that the hospital will organise your post-operative check in dressing clinic at 1 week but Mr Coombes’ team will organise a follow up with him personally.
